In fact, it’s not a stretch to think a few Superstars – and one power-hungry Diva – could join the Raw and SmackDown General Manager on the employment line. In his tumultuous tenure as Raw and SmackDown GM, Laurinaitis has no doubt amassed a list of detractors, but there is a fair share of people who have supported his reign, either to stay in his good graces or to be an integral part of his administration. After tweeting that Randy and Sheamus will go one on one with each other on Smackdown, we pretty much thought no Eve tonight on RAW. We got a surprise during the John Cena and Johnny segment that took place at the end of the night. Eve came down to the ring, tapped John on the shoulder until he decided to see what she wanted. Turns out she had some papers from the board of directors about his and Cena’s match taking place at the PPV Sunday. Eve wasn’t look happy and shortly left the ring after.

In a recent WWE.com article interview, Beth talks about the return of Layla and also talks about Eve.

Since The Glamazon’s championship loss and forced exile from the ring, the transformation of the Divas division is impossible to ignore. Not only is Layla its new champion, but Eve – fully embracing her new role as John Laurinaitis’ Executive Administrator – saw fit to fire both of The Bella Twins. Notwithstanding the fact that Eve was the one who delivered Beth’s disappointing medical news at Extreme Rules, The Glamazon can’t help but admire her WrestleMania XXVIII tag team partner’s decision to give Nikki & Brie their walking papers.

“Eve’s making a statement in her role,” Beth said. “She’s flexing her muscles a little bit, and I respect that. Eve and I actually have a lot in common in that we’re both strong, powerful women wanting to get more in a man’s world. That said, I don’t like being talked down to, and I don’t like being taken for granted. If Eve ever challenges me, then she’s going to have her hands full.”
