– A match involving the WWE Divas is expected to take place WrestleMania XXVIII although some company officials are against utilizing the women for the sake of it since the affair would take away time from the bouts people are most interested in seeing.

It’s also been suggested as the pre-show dark match.

Eve Torres will be taking on Beth at this Saturday’s house show.

“Anything can happen in the WWE.” That slogan in professional wrestling hit hard for diva Eve Torres—whose character, in a matter of weeks, went from a fan favorite love interest to a damsel in distress to being jeered by the crowd on a recent episode of the “Raw Super Show.”

Come Saturday, the drama and the action moves from the television screen to Ontario when the WWE comes to Citizens Business Bank Arena. The event, which is a part of the Road to Wrestlemania tour, will feature a number of superstars including WWE Champion CM Punk taking on Kane, The Miz fighting R-Truth and a battle royal to determine who faces United States champion Jack Swagger. Other superstars scheduled to appear include Dolph Ziggler, David Otunga, Kofi Kingston and Santino Marella.

It is a build-up to the biggest WWE pay-per-event of the year “Wrestlemania 28” on April 1. To put it in perspective, “Wrestlemania” is considered to be the Super Bowl of wrestling. Torres has participated in a number of “Wrestlemania” events and said walking out in front of 40,000 screaming fans “is like nothing I ever experienced in my life.”

When it comes to events like the Ontario show, Torres said fans can look forward to a lot of excitement and unpredictability. “TV is a small part of what we do,” she said in a recent telephone interview. “The live events are real fun. And there’s more stuff you don’t see on TV.”

The WWE is more than just wrestling matches. There is an added amount of drama that Torres refers to as “like a soap opera.” And she has been front and center in the major storyline recently on WWE’s highly rated Monday night television show “Raw Super Show” between John Cena, Kane and Zack Ryder. In it she has been romantically pursued by Long Island party boy Ryder, stalked and threatened by the scary 7-foot tall Kane and planted a scandalous kiss on Cena. That has given her an opportunity to show off her skills out of the ring.

“I love the storylines and backstage segments,” Torres said. “It helps refine my character. And the storylines are what makes the show interesting.” She credits former WWE Divas Trish Stratus and Lita as inspiring her as female wrestlers with the impact they had on the Divas brand. Torres also looks to bitter rivals when it comes to improving her skills. “(Current Divas Champion) Beth Phoenix has forced me to step it up,” she said. Torres is scheduled to face Phoenix at the Ontario show.

She said that during live events, the matches can be longer because they don’t have strict time limits like with television shows “Raw” and “Smackdown.” You might also get to witness something never seen before.
“A lot of moves I tried at live events and then do them on TV,” Torres said. “The ‘Booty Popping Moonsault’ (a dance leading into a standing back flip onto an opponent) started at a live event. Live events are where you can sharpen your sword.”
Working with wrestling veterans like Cena and Kane has also presented a rewarding challenge for Torres.
“It’s absolutely increased pressure,” she said. “All the backstage stuff is live, so we really have to be on own game. It’s great to learn from them.”
Torres is also looking forward to the main event for “Wrestlemania 28” between Cena and The Rock.
“Everyone wins watching that match, especially women. But, I’m going with Cena. He’ll do anything for the WWE Universe and I’m really excited for that.”

The angle with Eve Torres and John Cena at last night’s Raw Supershow was done to get fans to cheer Cena before he did the big promo against The Rock towards the end of the show.

- There’s been a plan discussed to pair Eve Torres with a heel WWE Superstar to have them feud with Zack Ryder and another WWE Diva. No word yet on who could get paired with Ryder but Layla is a rumored name.

Eve is talking about the weather with the Bellas and the Bellas are asking Eve about Zack and his ankle. They say that Zack is a great guy. Eve starts to laugh and she says that it was good. Eve corrects them and says that they were never friends. Eve says that she was using Zack. People are talking about her now and he is an idiot. Eve says that Zack is a child and wouldn’t know what to do around her. Eve says that people use each other and now she has hooked the big fish. She says that she is going to use John Cena. Eve says that she will go to Cena first since he will be trying to apologize her. Eve wants the Bellas to record her going into John’s locker room.
Eve turns around to John and Eve turns on those acting chops but they do not work. Cena walks away and Eve starts to cry.

After being jilted by Eve’s betrayal, John Cena’s music plays and he comes out to the ring.

Eve comes out and she is trying to act all Catherine Zeta-Jonesy. She says that everything was taken out of context. She wants to explain.

John tells her to speak up and says that Eve has spoken enough. Cena says that he was backstage and wants to fill everyone else in on the situation. He says that Eve has been sipping on the skank juice and was going to use her assets to further her career.

John says that he lost a good friend in Zack Ryder because of Eve. He lost a broski because of a hoski.

Eve says that they were just having fun.

Cena says that Eve shouldn’t be wasting her time with him. Eve should be trying to hang out with the Rock because she is disingenuous and will use anyone to take advantage of the situation. He calls Eve and Dwayne a couple of scandalous bitches.

Eve still wants some Cena loving but John will have none of that. Cena says that he is disease free and wants to stay that way.

Eve cannot believe how bad her plan has backfired and she continues to cry and a few backstage staff comes out and helps her to the back.
